I spent some time with the 1/8" NPT tap and die. I got the threads on the fuel pressure sensor nice and clean. To make sure it would go smooth I did a precautionary clean on the new fitting threads as well. It went together like butter.

The banjo fitting is in place. It looks like I picked up an eighth of an inch in clearance.
