Velocity Cookout & Family Reunion


2008 turned out alright. With the high price of fuel, I was dreading the prospect of a low turnout. As it turned out, the numbers were up. The weather was perfect. We had a great time. Burgers and brats worked well last year, so we stuck with it. Same as last year, if you didn’t get enough to eat, it was probably Ken Baker’s fault.

Our hope for 2008 was to make the Cookout as much of a success as last year. I think we did.

The head count went somewhere over 100. Too many people to get to meet everyone!

Thanks again to all the voluteers. They made this happen!

I know I’m going to forget someone, so I’ll offer my apology up front. :(
